Working with Cellulant’s Marketplace Platform in Nigeria, you’ll be part of a system that brings together key actors in the Agriculture market-place; Farmers, Community Aggregators, Warehousing companies, Logistics companies, and Food Processors.

As Cellulant defines ways to increase their logistics capacity, they have established a control tower system which ensures that planning, performance analysis and reporting happens seamlessly. As a Planning and Reporting Manager, you’ll become part of this control tower team and work with Cellulant to blitzscale their model and feed Nigerians for 7 days in 2020.

Job Summary: The Healthcare Coach provides compassionate and empathetic guidance to help patients manage the impact of their condition and to use their prescribed treatment effectively. The Healthcare Coach is a qualified professional who complements the education and care provided by the patient’s own healthcare team and does not provide medical advice. The role involves regular patient contact, in person and by telephone, and is responsible for building rapport and helping to address their patients’ personal challenges and needs by effectively applying Motivational Interviewing skills and other behaviour change techniques outlined through the program support materials. Besides, the Healthcare Coach is responsible for processing co-payment and cash facilitation requests of patients enrolled in Financial Programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients.

• Provides ongoing educational support to identified patients throughout their treatment cycles, this could be through face to face interactions or telephonic contacts.

• Perform Co-payment and Cash Facilitation services as applicable

• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients.

• Assesses and provides tailored interventional support to help patients overcome potential psychological or behavioural XZ  challenges that may impact their ability to manage their treatment or specific disease.

• Motivates patients to adhere to their regular treatment schedule, meals, routines, chores, exercise and self-care to achieve best results.

• Maintains safety needs and follow proper communications protocol in case of an emergency.

• Report the IQVIA’s condition and any changes to the Program Manager and send progress notes to program Manager on frequent basis

• Promotes patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.

• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards.

• Accurately captures patient details following home-based and telephone interactions and assessments in the tracking software.

• Reports any potential adverse events, product quality issues or other perceived safety risks.

• Refers specific medical queries or issues to other healthcare professionals in accordance with local guidelines or company protocols where appropriate.

• Communicates with and develops relationships with other healthcare entities/organizations as deemed needed for the Program and within their scopes.

 

 Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing/ MBCBH or a science-based field.

• Minimum Experience: Palliative Care experience desirable.

• Strong IT Skills: Must have experience and capabilities to use MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Languages: English and local dialect (Swahili is an asset).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly showing empathy, tact and discretion

• Prior experience supporting patients in a home health or call centre setting

• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new programs / systems quickly

• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment medical and background checks.

• Able to accommodate flexible work hours

 

Desirable Requirements:

Patient-centred counselling experience:

• Prior training and practical experience using psychological therapy techniques such as Motivational interviewing or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

IQVIA Focus:

• Clear understanding of the need to deliver an excellent experience to the patient or caregiver and referring physician.

• Ability to consider and review opportunities to expand healthcare professional’s awareness of the resources and services the IQVIA can offer by focusing on need and partnership opportunity.

Project Officer – Grant Support at World Vision International

Purpose of Position

The Project Officer Grant support will, under the direction of the Program Director, provide operational and administrative assistance to the Secretariat, Project Staff and Consortium Members. The position holder will provide necessary, programming administrative, coordination and logistical services in support of the operations of the Secretariat, and assists with information management.

Major Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of the Program Director, manage day-to-day and provide support to Ark 2030 Project Secretariat.
  • Support effective and timely management of donor/consortium needs, queries and requests.
  • Contribute to the processes of creating linkages with other partners
  • Support MEAL Coordinator to coordinate and monitor project processes with Consortium Partners;
  • Support project staff with People and Culture related processes e.g. contract renewals, performance agreements, appraisals among others.
  • Prepare regular inputs to status and progress reports in collaboration with various groups.
  • In collaboration with MEAL officer, promote organizational learning culture particularly through creation and sharing of knowledge by synthesizing and documenting findings and lessons learned success stories and best practices, strategies and approaches of the groups and drafting relevant materials for dissemination.
  • Support organization and documentation of consortium learning and sharing forums in consultation with MEAL officer and communications officer in dissemination of knowledge/best practice, challenges, and knowledge gaps.

  • Maintains confidential records for the Project Director;

  • Develops and maintains an efficient filing system for the team, including assistance in processing calls for proposals as required;
  • Maintains a tracking system of responses to sub grantees;
  • Maintains and updates team’s databases and mailing lists using and Maintains team members’ contacts using;
  • Contributes to electronic filing of team documents;
  • Organizes regular team meetings and conference calls/video-conferences, including the preparation and distribution of documents and providing the necessary technical devices;
  • Takes minutes of regular team meetings and other meetings as required;
  • Assists in the coordination of the Secretariat process by tracking Program completion for the programs, scheduling interviews as necessary and e-filing the final document;
  • Liaises with Regional Office staff as required, and provides assistance to National Office staff when visiting Secretariat;
  • Assists in HR related matters within the team, the orientation of new staff, interns, research fellows and consultants by providing them with the necessary documents and materials for orientation; and
  • Works with other Partner Organizations to coordinate work activities, meet deadlines, and provide support where needed; and
  • Performs other related duties in accordance with instructions from team members.

  • Coordinates and disseminates all internal and external material, including publicity and background documents and coordinates appropriate mailings or distribution;
  • Prepares training kits or information packages and sends material to participants in a timely manner; and
  • Coordinates registration process and acts as contact person for the participants.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have at least 3 years’ relevant experience working with 2 years’ in project management of projects in Livelihoods and Resilience will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Computer especially in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis programs such as PP, Excel & Word.
  • Possess excellent communication, facilitation, networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to maintain donor and partner relations through timely and appropriate communications.
  • Proven track record in engaging with government ministries and other stakeholders.

Organizational Setting and Work Relationships

The ultimate aim of the IGO is to support the effective, efficient and accountable management of UNHCR operations and to play a positive role in upholding an environment of integrity in UNHCR by contributing to the maintenance of the highest standards of personal and professional conduct by UNHCR personnel, and all entities with contractual links to UNHCR.
The Investigation Service, working under the authority of the Inspector General has responsibility for carrying out investigations into possible misconduct within UNHCR, in a timely and appropriate manner and that findings are transmitted to the Inspector General.
Investigation work is highly confidential and sensitive and should always be dealt with an extremely discrete and professional manner despite any pressure outside the Investigation Unit.
The staff of the IGO is required to demonstrate respect for the principles governing the work of the IGO. These include impartiality, objectivity and appropriate confidentiality, as well as high standards of professional competence and integrity.

All UNHCR staff members are accountable to perform their duties as reflected in their job description. They do so within their delegated authorities, in line with the regulatory framework of UNHCR which includes the UN Charter, UN Staff Regulations and Rules, UNHCR Policies and Administrative Instructions as well as relevant accountability frameworks. Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the work of the Service in an effective manner.
  • Perform witness function during investigative interviews resulting in Records of Interviews.
  • Conduct searches over the internet and within UNHCR databases.
  • Analyse large volume of unstructured data using specialized software provided and taught by the IGO.
  • Research legal materials and jurisprudence in support of investigation reports for disciplinary action.
  • Assist with the finalisation of Investigation Reports and supporting evidentiary information intended for disciplinary action.
  • Draft routine confidential and sensitive investigation correspondence.
  • Organise and prepare sensitive investigation missions.
  • Assist in conducting other investigatory activities as required.
  • Coordinate and assist in the planning and organisation of training activities.
  • Generate statistical and analytical reports on investigative caseload for internal and external authorities as required.
  • Monitor and perform as necessary other administrative functions for all professional staff of the IGO Unit, including coordination of mission travel arrangements.
