Qualifications
- Diploma Holder in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse( KRCHN) from a recognized institution,
- Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya,
- Have a valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya, and
- Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patients/clients outcomes;
- Providing appropriate health care service including Integrated Management of Childhood illness (IMCI), Immunization, PMTCT, Antenatal care, delivery, providing health education and counseling to patient/clients;
- Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge plans, maintaining records on patients/clients health condition and care, ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment and collecting and compiling data; and
- Community interventions including identification and implementation of health needs, referring patients/clients appropriately.
