RM/08/2018: RETAIL MANAGER
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Field (80%) and Distribution Center (20%)
Purpose: As a Retail Manager you will be a core member of the country senior management team. You will be working closely with the MD and the management team ensuring the retail targets are met (sales, installation and repossession).
Responsibilities for the Retail Manager Job:
- Ensuring each Retail Area Manager(RAM) meets their objective: sales, installation and repossession
- Creating plan with MD and Retail Area Managers to meet targets
- Implementing marketing and sales strategies using the Retail Area Managers
- Suggesting changes to implementation plans
- Creating expansion plan with Retail Area Managers
- Reporting on the performance of the retail network to MD and management team
Description of tasks
- Responsible for sales metrics across the country network of shops
- Supporting retail area managers in planning for their monthly/quarterly objectives
- Monitoring the performance of the country and change plan if necessary
- Monitoring the performance of the RAM against objectives
- Promoting the best agents, retail supervisors,… to keep motivating
- Managing the schedule of RAM and motivating them to reach new heights
- Building a passionate and outstanding direct sales team through the network
- Cultivating an extraordinary client focused culture
- Responsible for the expansion of the network
- Recruiting new RAMs to manage existing or new areas
- Identifying with RAMs and MDs new areas to expand
- Managing the shop expansion
- Responsible for technicians performance
- Supporting the RAM in managing the network of technicians
- Creating any strategy necessary for the RAM to meet objectives
- Supporting the RAM in recruiting new technicians
- Monitoring the performance of the network of technicians against objectives and take necessary actions
- Responsible for implementing marketing with the marketing manager
- Propose different marketing activities
- Work with marketing manager in implementing marketing strategies
- Responsible for the operations at the area
- Consolidating information on the performance and operations of the country
- Setting targets and objectives for RAM, and review performance in quarterly reviews
- Creating monthly plans for country based on targets, and overall strategy as set by Managing Director and BBOXX Ltd management
- Creating budgets for the area in line with monthly and quarterly plans
- Coaching RAM to become better leaders
Retail Manager Job Qualifications
- Have a university degree and 7 – 10 years working experience in sales leadership
- Senior managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG
- Be willing to travel 4 days a week
- Be an expert with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Have a valid driving license
- Must speak fluent English
