The Kisii County Government wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and Section 63 of the County Government Act, 2012.
The holder of this position reports to the deputy director ground water Development.
Drilling Engineer Job Responsibilities
- Provision of drilling engineering service during drilling operations;
- Procuring drilling materials, tools and equipment;
- Ensuring safety of the rig and personnel during drilling;
- Preparing drilling programs and coordination and supervision of drilling operations to ensure timely completion of wells /boreholes within budget.
Requirements for the Drilling Engineer Job
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- in Mechatronics engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil/Water engineering or any other relevant field.
- Microsoft office proficient.
- Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Drilling works.
- Registered with a recognized and relevant professional body.
