Working as part of a team with printers, This position supports the Research & Development and Marketing departments by preparing visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts, for the company’s range of product lines.

- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;

Junior Graphic Designer Responsibilities
- Meeting with Directors, Research Manager and Business development Manager to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job;
- Interpreting the business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the Directors
- Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD);
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
Qualifications for the Junior Graphic Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
- In depth knowledge of modern Graphic Design strategies and tools
- Familiar with different design programs- InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash;
At least 3 years’ experience spent in as similar position
