Responsibilities for the Accounting & Administration Officer Job
Accounting
- Processing of suppliers invoices and payments
- Cash book entries into accounting software
- Stock entries
- Customers’ monthly statements
- Monthly/quarterly accounts
- Prepare for audit
- Budget monitoring
- Cash flow monitoring
- Petty cash control
- Statutory returns
Administrations
- Proactively managing the ordering, purchasing and distribution of stationery, office and kitchen supplies.
Accounting & Administration Officer Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:
- At least two years’ experience working in an office environment, including accounting, reception and office administration experience.
- The officer must possess a professional attitude, strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact well with others.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office, computerized Accounting and basic bookkeeping skills are essential.
- Experience of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Experience in maintaining and organizing effective electronic and manual filing systems
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to manage own time and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
