- Adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
- Drive to various locations for pick-ups as assigned.
- Adhere to traffic rules at all times & report any incident to the relevant authorities when it occurs.
- Sign off the receipt used for fueling the vehicle & remit to the Finance & Administration Manager.
- Prepare a log book indicating the mileage & destination.
- Ensure that the company vehicle is always in a clean and presentable condition (inside and out)
- Inspect the vehicle; first aid kit, fire extinguisher, insurance, brakes, oil level, indicators, & fuel.
- Liaise with the Accounts department on issues involving the maintenance, service & fueling of the company vehicles.
Qualifications for the Company Driver Job
- Should have 10 years’ experience especially in corporate driving environment.
- Should have a minimum of form four education
- Should communicate fluently in English
- Must be very polished and street smart
- Familiar with the routes in Nairobi and surrounding environs
- Mature, healthy with excellent eyesight and punctual with a good attendance record
- A valid driving licenses.
- Free of any criminal record
- Flexibility in terms of working hours
- Certificate in basic mechanics
- Kenya police certificate of good conduct is also compulsory
