- Store and retrieve medical records and documents
- Implement health records and information management and disseminate health records information
- Analyze health data nationally Prepare various reports
Requirements For the Assistant Health Records & Information Management Officer Job
- Served in the grade of Assistant Health Records and Information Management
- Officer I or Senior Health Records Information Management Assistant for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized institution; Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results. Satisfy the requirements of chapter six
