To support the client by ensuring client brand communications activities are executed in a focused manner to ensure more brand visibility and value addition to the brand.
Responsibilities
Client service
- Active as the central link between the agency and client by maintaining regular contact with both and ensuring that communication flows effectively.
- Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
- Keep abreast with competitive/market knowledge, and use this information to advice clients appropriately.
- Following up with creative/production/media teams to ensure brief deadlines are met and updating of status sheets on a weekly basis.
- Undertaking routing task such as:
- Generating contact reports
- Writing well thought-out and clear briefs to capture client requirements
- Filing
- Preparation of contact / status reports
- Coordinating and preparation of meetings and presentations
- Begins to build relationships with clients by demonstrating a clear understanding their business and needs.
Self-Management
- Achieves set business targets
- Completing timesheets diligently
- Financial Management
- Ensure agency financial process is followed; billing, cost estimates, LPO’s timesheets are raised, signed off in a timely manner.
New Business
- Identify incremental business opportunities on current client accounts and share information with appropriate line manager
- Support team members in the development of programmes and new business pitches, for new and existing clients, and assigned
- Continuously look out for new business opportunities for the agency
Self-Development
- Building a strong network of industry contacts through business association
- Pursue career development opportunities related to his/her own career advancement
- Participating in company sanctioned training programs
Brand stewardship
- Project positive image of the agency at all times.
Qualifications
- A good understanding and awareness of advertising industry business.
- Ability to start see through and complete assigned projects
- Possess self-confidence
- Ability to cope with pressure and tight work deadlines
- Good team working skills
- Entry to this level is usually between two and four years’ agency experience or its equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree with preference in Marketing and Communications fields
