Qualifications for the Driver Job
- KCSE Certificate or its equivalent.
- Should be between 35 – 40 years old.
- Valid class ABCE driving license.
- Current Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Certificate of First Aid.
- Government trade test in Automotive Engineering.
- 5 years experience or more.
- Suitability test or driving proficiency certificate.
- Must have held a similar position for at least 2 years.
Driver Job Responsibilities
- Driving all types of vehicles as authorized and maintaining work tickets.
- Maintaining up to date records of motor vehicles logbooks, fuel consumption and other returns.
- Keeping repair and maintenance records and carrying out routine checks on vehicles.
- Coordinating issuance of up to date licenses, other regulatory requirements and inspection reports.
- Providing accident reports and making follow-ups.
- Ensuring security and safety of vehicle, passengers/goods on and off the road.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the Institutional vehicles.
