Amotech Africa was established in the year 2012. Our core business is to provide reliable test and measurement solutions. We also have a lab that provides calibration and instrument repair services.
This ideal candidate will work with the the team to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients. Once they discover the client’s needs, they will discuss our product’s technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
- Offer Technical support and training for all products under mechanical tools and equipment categories. (Norbar, EGA Master and Flowrox)
- Building business relationships with current and potential clients
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals.
- Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences either physical or virtual.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining database of prospective client information
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process.
- Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
Qualifications
- Mandatory Technical Background -Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts.
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
