Customer Technical Advocate at Nokia

Knowledge of Ericsson MPBN and Cisco CCNA is an added advantage.

  • Core PS nodes software upgrades/updates
  • Second level Support for PS Core EDGE/UMTS and LTE of Ericsson Vendor equipments – including equipment surveillance, operations and configurations
  • Configuration Management (generate and implement data transcript)
  • Ensure Service levels and MTTR (Mean Time To Restore) are upheld within the Customer Network by providing leadership in troubleshooting and fault restoration.
  • Perform Ericsson PS Core network performance and optimization activities to ensure network KPI’s are maintained and/or improved on agreed thresholds
  • Technical Capability development, training and knowledge transfer for PS Core Team in the Ericsson Packet Core and MPBN enviroment

  • Determine correlation- dependencies between Application- Packet Core – RAN KPIs (Radio Access Network) – Handsets as well as the IP transport Network.
  • Performing Software and Hardware updates and upgrades on Packet core nodes
  • Follow-up, tracing & verification of packet core Work Orders execution.
  • Ensuring data integrity of daily outage tracker on for packet core incidents
  • Preparation and Validation of Incident report and Cause Analysis for Packet Core incidents
  • Folloup & timely delivery of dump requirements from Other Domains (RA,IT etc)
  • Verification and followup for timely closure of domain TTs
  • Conducting daily domain review of domain KPI’s and associated reports, Raising issue to relevant Teams to fix any Dips.
  • Participate in Emergency handling
  • Provide local domain support to TSG (1st Level Engineering Team) and NOC

Requirement

Job Summary

The Chief People & Culture Officer is responsible for driving thought leadership, strategic direction and implementation of organization-wide people, culture and engagement interventions across Living Goods. Specifically, the focus is double pronged: First it is to continuously diagnose the well -being of the organization, particularly in terms of how effectively LG leverages its key strategic people levers of culture, leadership, talent, diversity and capability to achieve its purpose. Responsibilities

Strategy Design & Execution

  • Lead the development of the People and Culture strategy ensuring alignment to overall organizational strategy

Senior Management and Programme Analyst at United Nations Environment Programme

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. UNEP’s Policy and Programme Division is responsible for the organization’s strategy, policy and programme coordination, and implements the organization’s performance review and monitoring. This position is in the Policy and Programme Division at the Nairobi Duty Station and is responsible for leading the Policy Coordination Unit. The Policy Coordination Unit guides and provides cross organizational support to the implementation of the environmental dimension of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Working with and through other UN Agencies, UNEP’s Divisions and Regional Offices, the Policy Coordination Unit promotes UNEP delivery coherence in the context of UN Reform. Under the direct supervision of the Director, and within delegated authority, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities

1. Provides senior policy advice to the organization’s leadership, on conceptual strategy development and management of the implementation of overall strategies and intra and inter-divisional policies and procedures. Directs policy research papers, prepares corporate positions and presents information gathered from diverse sources.

2. Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates assigned programme/projects. Provides direction and sound and innovative advice on a wide range of issues, including developing policy and strategies for issues on a long-term and large-scale basis to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of results that ensure the best interests of the organization and its member states.

3. Delivers thorough well-reasoned contributions, e.g., policy recommendations, complex papers, analysis, substantive sections of reports and studies, publications, etc. Implements corrective action with respect to operational issues.

4. Supervises preparation of various written outputs, e.g. background papers, analysis, substantial sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc. Directs substantive support to consultative and other meetings, conferences, etc., including proposing agenda topics, identifying participants, preparation of documents and presentations, etc.

5. Manages outreach activities; designs and conducts workshops, seminars, including to develop corporate positions, makes presentations on assigned topics/activities.

6. Carries out programmatic/administrative tasks necessary for the functioning of the Division, including preparation of budgets, assigning and monitoring of performance parameters and critical indicators, reporting on budget/programme performance, preparation of inputs for results-based budgeting, evaluation of staff performance, interviews of candidates for job openings and evaluation of candidates.

7. Serves as an effective spokesperson and establishes collaboration and partnerships with key officials at all levels inside and outside the organization. Ensures effective utilization, supervision and development of staff; Guides, evaluates and mentors staff.
