Senior Assistant Office Administrator Job Requirements

  • Must have served in the grade of Assistant Office Administrator I JG ‘K’ for a minimum of three (3) years
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance results
  • Diploma in Secretarial studies from Kenya Examination Council or Business Education single of group certificates
  • Certificate in Public Relation and Customer care lasting for not less than 2 weeks

OR

The following qualifications from the Kenya National Examinations Council:

  • Shorthand III (minimum 110 w.p.m.)
  • Typewriting III (50 w.p.m.)/Computerised Document Processing III

Roles for the Head of Human Resources Job

The key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Human resource policies – develop, implement and maintain human resources policies across the organisation, including training programs to educate and promote awareness of the organization mandate and regulatory compliance.
  • Selection and Recruitment – Directing and managing the recruitment and selection process, and training of line managers in interviewing and assessment procedures.
  • Reporting and management of human resources metrics – produce reports on key metrics, including remuneration and benefits, absenteeism and turnover.

Head of Human Resources Job Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in Social Sciences, Business Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource, or relevant field. MSc/MA in human resource will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum 3 years’ of experience in a similar role
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Job Vacancy : Program Officer –QA/QI

Job Purpose:

To support establishment, expansion and integration of quality improvement activities to support provision of quality integrated HIV prevention, HIV counselling and testing, care and treatment services within the Ministry of Health, Private and Faith Based Sector health facilities in supported counties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a quality of care strategy and working with other members of the Project team to provide on-going support to supported sites ensuring that quality is integrated into the day-to-day activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Project and other EGPAF staff to develop a country, project and county specific Quality Management plans.
  • Oversee implementation of Project quality management plans at supported sites.
  • Train Project and MOH staff in quality management activities.
  • Lead efforts to conduct site-specific assessments of quality management capacity.
  • Conduct routine site visits to support quality assurance and improvement activities.
  • Oversee site level training and efforts to build site capacity to implement quality management activities, working in collaboration with appropriate staff
  • Conduct cross-site data analysis regarding quality of care.
  • Oversee data collection activities related to quality improvement efforts.  This may include, but not limited to, working with Project M&E Officer, Data Managers and other technical staff as well as site staff to routinely analyze data and provide feedback and use this data for planning and decision making to improve quality of services
  • Serve as the primary liaison with other EGPAF Projects, supported counties and NASCOP to coordinate and support quality improvement efforts, working closely with Ministry of Health/NASCOP in implementation of National quality improvement and assurance activities.
  • Any other duties assigned

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical related field with at least 5 years of continuous HIV quality program implementation experience
  • Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in establishing and sustaining working relationships with the Government of Kenya Ministries of Health, other implementing partners and donor agencies at senior level
  • Significant and up to date knowledge of the current ART, PMTCT, TB/HIV, HTC guidelines, standards, tools and best practices
  • Experience in  HIV/AIDS care and treatment program implementation with demonstrated expertise in initiating care and treatment services in a public, faith based or private health facilities
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating HIV /AIDS quality assessment and quality improvement for prevention, care and treatment interventions.
  • Knowledge of PEPFAR Program and NASCOP reporting requirements including familiarity with the data collection and reporting tools used by NASCOP
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, report writing and analytical skills
  • Dedicated visionary and strategic leader  with ability and experience to work in a multidisciplinary, multi-cultural team

The role works with support from CSDM Head in executing the sales and derivatives plan and works with Relationship Managers in Corporate Banking, NPI, Liability Management Group to coordinate joint calling/ strategy plans for effective client coverage. Daily interactions with Treasury Operations/ Operations Control to follow up on exceptions to smooth settlement of customer deals executed by the sales team is core to the job.

• Execute the treasury sales and derivatives plan, to cover all treasury products and customer segments.
• Deliver market information and insight to customers via newsletters, research and face-to-face interface.
• Responsible for full range of trading activities including FX, Money Markets, Corporate Services and off-balance sheet products.
• Actively support product and customer development.

 

Qualifications

 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, Science, Computers or Math.


Knowledge/Experience:


• 2 years direct FX/MM trading, operations or sales experience.
• Good knowledge of Kenyan macroeconomics and financial markets.
• Experience dealing in one or more foreign currencies.

In the exceptional cases where we hire a more junior candidate, HR may require to bring in the candidate at the appropriate grade than the one advertised to maintain internal equity. In these cases the Business and HR will work together to determine a formal developments plan for the candidate to get them up to the appropriate grade.
