The Principal Technical Account Manager (PTAM) oversees a number of key functions to ensure our customers receive the most from their Microsoft Support relationship. As a PTAM, you are responsible for the support Services relationship, including managing the delivery of all support services, customer satisfaction, while driving business growth for Microsoft and supporting our customers on their digital transformation. This will require you to establish and manage expectations within the customers business and drive the IT teams to achieve those expectations to a high standard.

Responsibilities

As the conduit between the Subsidiary countries across West, East and Central Africa and their Customers and our global resources, managing relationships with the Subsidiary country teams to enable their Clients to leverage the suite of proactive support services provided thru our global resources, related to improving a Clients operational health, IT setup and adoption of Cloud Services.

The value that a Principal Technical Account Manager brings to Microsoft is increased Customer Satisfaction & Microsoft Unified Support Revenues thru the packaging, promotion and programmatic approach to selling of proactive Support Services that will help Microsoft Account teams in every Microsoft Subsidiary to grow their Premier Support business.

Ensuring the Subsidiary are making the most of the proactive Support Services available to them to enable their Customers to achieve their IT & Business Outcomes. By engaging directly with the Sales & Delivery management teams in each Subsidiary to maximize their Premier Core Billed (PCB) and Customer Satisfaction results. As a key focal point for the role is to maximize PCB thru (i) Growing Renewals, (ii) Upselling more Add-On’s, and (iii) Developing an improved approach to presenting a more compelling value-proposition to all Customers <$100k revenue. Critical aspects to be successful in the role will be, (i) the partnership with Sales Excellence and Scale Delivery, who drive the weekly governance of “Renewals & Outcomes,” (ii) personal involvement in the monthly review that HQ has with Subsidiary Sales & Delivery management, and (iii) formulating a simplified catalog of the Support Offerings with pricing to increase penetration in each Customer segment.

Key Accountabilities Include

  • CUSTOMER – Creates a strategic support relationship with key stakeholders within our customer organizations, both within IT and their business groups to enable quality delivery aligned to their business outcomes. TAMs focus on understanding the customer’s business and IT objectives in order to develop and manage the delivery of services to enable customers to realize the of value of Microsoft products and cloud services. The TAM must be a change agent by articulating the case for change and helping our customers evolve their IT maturity, drive productive use of Microsoft products, and enable and support IT to make the business more effective.
  • BUSINESS – The TAM is responsible for sustainable growth through routinely partnering across a One Microsoft team to strategize on ways to create new opportunities within the accounts they service. The TAM is responsible for the profitability of our services and increasing our customers cloud commitment through portfolio management, all in a manner consistent with Microsoft’s legal, fiscal and personnel policies.
  • DELIVERY – The TAM must be aware and proficient in understanding the Services portfolio, and the entitlements and benefits available to the customer to be able to articulate the value of these services to support customer success. The TAM is responsible for understanding the customer’s priorities and constructing a strategic plan that defines the Support team’s approach to bring value to the customer. The TAM pursues, orchestrates, and facilitates programs of work to deliver outcomes that bring value to the customer. The TAM is the owner of the overall support experience across the entire lifecycle that includes planning, consumption, and delivery governance.
  • LEADERSHIP – This role requires strong communication skills and imaginative, bold thinking in all situations, as well as displaying executive presence and confidence. The TAM must be able to show leadership in supporting teams comprised of Microsoft, Partner and customer resources who may be engaged in the delivery of complex solutions.

Nutrition Officer at International Rescue Committee

Working under the guidance and supervision of Nutrition Manager, the Nutrition Officer will be directly responsible for implementation of the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) program, Blanket Supplementary Feeding Programme (BSFP), nutrition surveillance, nutrition education & counseling and promotion of maternal infant and young child nutrition in the camp.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and supervise the inpatient and outpatient therapeutic feeding of severely malnourished under-fives while following the stipulated protocol.
  • Implement and supervise the supplementary feeding of the moderately malnourished under-fives, pregnant/lactating mothers, individuals with medical conditions.(HIV/AIDS & TB)
  • Implement comprehensive maternal and young child nutrition program (MIYCN) with strong Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) and Baby Friendly Community Imitative (BFCI) approaches.
  • Train and mentor the nutrition program staff and the integrated community health promoters through identification of capacity gaps and carrying out refresher training and on the job training.
  • Develop key messages in nutrition to the targeted beneficiaries, and ensure is delivered appropriately
  • Offer nutrition support through counseling to individuals with medical conditions including Comprehensive Care Clinic clients.
  • Participate in the annual health and nutrition surveys together with other stakeholders in the camp.
  • Plan and conduct Mass Muac screening of the under-fives on a quarterly basis in collaboration with the Community Health Promoters.
  • Work closely with the other nutrition related programs such as HIV/AIDS, Clinical Services and Community Health Programs in order to improve the nutrition situation.

Qualifications

  • Must be a holder of Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition & Dietetics.
  • Must be registered with the (Kenya Nutritionist & Dieticians Institute) KNDI
  • Must been trained on IMAM and IYCF.
  • Must have Experience in implementation & management of acute malnutrition and other nutrition related programs.

THE BANK:

The Bank’s development agenda is delivering the financial and technical support for transformative interventions that will significantly reduce poverty through inclusive and sustainable economic growth. In addition to providing finance, the Bank is Africa’s voice on global economic, financial and development issues, a role that has taken significant importance in light of increasing global integration and interconnection. In order to sharply focus on the objectives of the Ten Year Strategy TYS (2013 – 2022) and ensure greater developmental impact, five major goals (High 5s), all of which will accelerate delivery for Africa, have been identified for scaling up. These include: (i) Power and Light up Africa; (ii) Feed Africa; (iii) Industrialize Africa; (iv) Integrate Africa; and (v) Improve the quality of life for Africans.

 

THE COMPLEX:

The Vice-Presidency for Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery (RDVP) is responsible for operational relevancy, efficiency and effectiveness of the Bank Group’s operational programs and activities. The Vice-Presidency Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery will ensure that the Bank operates successfully across its RMCs and will oversee the full implementation of all aspects of the Bank’s Regional Directorates.

The Agriculture, Human and Social Development Complex (AHVP) leads in implementing two of the five goals, namely “Feed Africa” and “Improve the Quality of Life for Africans”. The complex comprises five departments: (i) Agriculture and Agro-Industry Development; (ii) Agriculture Finance and Rural Development; (iii) Gender, Women and Civil Society; (iv) Water Development and Sanitation; and, (v) Human Capital, Youth and Skills Development.

 

THE HIRING DEPARTMENT/DIVISION:

Within the Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery Complex, the Bank has five (5) Regional Development, Integration and Business Delivery Directorates, one in each region of Africa: North, South, East, West, and Central. Each Regional Directorate is headed by a Director General and is staffed with the relevant sectoral functions and administrative capabilities for rapid delivery of services to client countries. The Regional Directorates provide overall strategic direction to country offices within the regions and are responsible for the Bank’s operations, business development, project management and overall effective delivery of the Bank’s High 5s”. The position is under the Regional Development and Business Delivery Office, East Africa (RDGE) and located in the Bank’s Nairobi Office (RDGE).

The mission of the Agriculture, Human and Social Development Division (RDGE2) is to contribute to the Bank’s efforts to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development in Regional Member Countries. It does so by (1) contributing to development of country and regional strategies and building sector knowledge and (2) focusing on project/program origination and delivery for approval of operations defined under the High 5 priorities.

The Water Development and Sanitation Department (AHWS) is responsible for the coordination of the Bank’s water development and sanitation-related activities to enhance synergies and contribute to achievement of all High 5s. Through its two Divisions: AHWS.1 for water coordination and partnerships, and  AHWS2 for water security and sanitation, and the African Water Facility (AWF), the Department supports regional hubs in the development and promotion of new knowledge, capacity, approaches and tools for green and inclusive water resources development and management, and for improved sanitation. In so doing, the Department leads the scaling-up of the Bank’s contribution to Africa’s efforts to attain water security and sanitation for sustainable socio-economic transformation.

 

THE POSITION:

The position of the Senior Water and Sanitation Engineer, has the following work objectives:

  • Contribute to attainment of national/regional water and sanitation agenda and related objectives of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including attaining water and sanitation for all and ensuring water quality standards towards improved quality of life for the people;
  • Liaise with national-level stakeholders, and maintaining close collaboration with regional hubs and other water-related complexes in the Bank, the position contributes to pertinent knowledge management and technical guidance on sustainable and affordable water supply and sanitation technologies and approaches;
  • Assist the RMCs in understanding and applying Bank Group’s operational procedures relating to loan administration, and procurement of goods and services.

Duties and responsibilities

Under the overall supervision of the managers for RDGE2, the Country Office and AHWS2, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

A: Programming of Sector Priorities with Reference to Infrastructure

  • Provide technical advice/assistance to RMCs for the development of their water and sanitation sector (WSS):
  • Assist RMCs in identifying institutional capacity building and reform requirements, human resources development needs;
  • Assist RMCs in policy development and review and provide guidance in sectoral development planning;
  • Promote stakeholder participation in sectoral activities: local authorities, private sector, communities and community-based organizations (CBOs), and NGOs.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the Bank Group Water and Sanitation Sector policy and provide technical advice/guidance in implementation and monitoring compliance of the policy.

B. Identification, Preparation and Appraisal of Water and Sanitation Projects / Programs

  • Prepare water supply and sanitation projects/programs
  • Review relevant documents on the WSS sector in RMCs;
  • Lead/participate in field identification missions to RMCs, discuss needs, policies and strategies with relevant officials of RMCs;
  • Assist RMCs to prepare water supply and sanitation projects/programs;
  • Prepare and update project/program briefs and project /program matrices
  • Ensure project compliance with Bank Group acceptance criteria.
  • Check to ensure that projects conform with RMCs policies, priorities and development plans as well as with Bank Group policies and priorities;
  • Ensure that projects/programs are conceptually, technically and environmentally sound; prepare cost estimates;
  • Suggest possible financing arrangements;
  • Determine capacity of RMC to operate and maintain the completed project and propose solutions.
  • Ensure inclusion of proposed studies and projects in the pipeline of projects and Lending Program.
  • Contribute to preparing studies and projects for Bank Group financing
  • Lead or support missions to prepare Terms of Reference (TOR) of studies;
  • Provide guidance to relevant RMC officials for the preparation of TOR of the studies;
  • Propose implementation and project financing, and collaborate in arranging co-financing of projects to leverage resources when necessary;
  • Prepare mission reports and aide memoires.
  • Appraise projects and process for Bank Group financing
  • Lead/participate in multidisciplinary appraisal missions to RMCs to carry out technical, financial, economic, institutional, social and environmental appraisal of proposed projects;
  • Prepare Back to Office Reports and Appraisal Reports;
  • Lead/participate in joint field missions with co-financiers for co-financed projects.

C. Loan Processing, Project/Program Implementation and Supervision

  • Process projects for Bank Group financing
  • Process TORs of studies and Appraisal Reports of projects/programs with President’s Memoranda through Internal, Inter-Departmental Working Groups and Loans Committees to the Board of Directors for loan/grant approval;
  • Organize and participate in loan negotiations and arrange loan signature;
  • Collaborate with the Legal Department in preparation of loan agreements;
  • Monitor the process of loan effectiveness and ensure the RMCs meet the conditions for loan effectiveness;
  • Collaborate with other Divisions and Departments in the administration of Bank Group loans.
  • Monitor implementation of studies/projects through desk reviews and field missions
  • Ensure studies and projects are implemented in accordance with TORs and contracts, and within time and budgetary allocations;
  • Review progress reports and all other reports related to the project including inception reports, final reports, detailed designs, etc.;
  • Conduct regular field supervision and follow-up missions to RMCs to review progress in the field and resolve implementation problems;
  • Ensure compliance with general and specific conditions of loans and grants.
  • Monitor compliance of RMCs to Bank Group procurement procedures
  • Review bidding documents to ensure that they are in accordance with Bank Group rules of procurement of goods and works, and rules of procurement of consultancy services;
  • Review and analyze bid evaluation reports to ensure that RMCs procure works and services in accordance with the agreed procedures with the Bank Group;
  • Review RMC requests for special procurement methods Bank’s procurement units;
  • Monitor RMCs to ensure that the necessary bonds and guarantees are received from contractors and those contracts are in accordance with the requirements.
  • Carry out Project Completion Report (PCR) preparation
    • Ensure RMC preparation of PCR in close collaboration with the Borrower;
    • Lead/participate in missions to RMCs to ascertain project completion and its being operational;
    • Carry out technical, financial, institutional, social and environmental evaluation of the completed projects.
  • Identify and coordinate the needs for co-financing water projects/programs and initiate proposals for funding by:
    • Operationalizing an integrated approach to water sector investment;
    • Monitoring and reviewing water sector aid programs of other donor agencies in specific regional member country and determining financing gaps;
    • Representing the Bank/Department at national and international water related meetings.
  • Perform other related administrative or technical duties by:
    • Drafting responses for the Manager’s or Director General’s signature on water related issues;
    • Attending Working Groups, Loans Committee, Loan Negotiations and Board meetings;
    • Providing support to the manager in coaching staff in the division in areas related to project development, supervision, and oversight including responding to government and project implementation entities requests for non-objection and other approvals.
  • Liaise with other multilateral and bilateral institutions (such as: World Bank, UNESCO, UNICEF and regional institutions – AU, EAC, etc.) in the context of the Bank’s operations, and represent the Bank in Sector Donor Group meetings in the country.
  • Represent the Bank at seminars and conferences related to water and social sector activities.

 


Selection Criteria

  1. At least a Master’s or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Water Supply, Sanitary Engineering, or related discipline.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional working experience is required;
  3. Professional experience in international development institutions is added advantage;
  4. Knowledge of the water and sanitation sector in the country will also be an added advantage;
  5. Familiarity with the work of other multilateral and bilateral development finance institutions is a plus;

 Job Purpose:

The overall purpose of this role is to lead and execute IT audits at Family Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop IT Audit Strategy and Risk Based IT audit plan aligned to the business objectives of the Bank.
  • Develop risk based IT audit programs, tests and checklists to assist in execution of IT audits for various systems in the Bank.
  • Ensures KYC and AML/CTF laws and regulations are followed.
  • Evaluate risk management practices in the in order to determine whether IT related risks are adequately managed to avert loses to the Bank.
  • Review IT Policies, Procedures and Processes and controls and provide recommendations for completeness and alignment to the generally accepted ISACA IS Audit Standards, ISO 27001 and other best practices.
  • Execute risk- based IS audits in line with the approved IT Audit Plan and make recommendations from improvements.
  • Provide assurance on the effectiveness of the Bank’s IT governance, IT management structure, adequacy of processes to support management in decision making process.
  • Coordinate IT audits carried out by external auditors such as Group Central Bank, and the Bank’s External Auditor
  • Continuous review and reporting on cyber risks and controls of the ICT systems within the Bank and other related third-party connections.
  • Assessing both the design and effectiveness of the cybersecurity framework implemented.
  • Conducting regular independent threat and vulnerability assessment tests.
  • Conducting comprehensive penetration tests.
  • Conduct Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations from various IT audits carried out by internally and also through external auditors such as Central Bank and the Bank’s External Auditor.
  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in preparing IT Audit reports for submission to Management and the Board Audit Committee.
  • Present the key IT audit findings to Senior Management.
  • Assist Internal Auditors in developing scripts and data analytics to assist them in their audit work.
  • Offer support in carrying out fraud investigations that involve technical system manipulation.
  • Support Internal Auditors in optimizing use of Computer Assisted Audit
  • Techniques (CAATS) such as Teammate, and data analytic tools such as ACL, IDEA where appropriate.
  • Provide advisory on proposed IT developments such as acquisition of new systems and system upgrades to ensure that IT risks are properly identified and controls embedded to mitigate the risks.
  • Provide assurance that the practice of acquisition, development, testing and implementation of information systems meet the Bank’s strategies and objectives.
  • Provide assurance that the processes for maintenance of the Bank’s information systems is adequate and whether they meet the user’s needs, expectations and overall bank strategy.
  • Any other official duties that may be allocated from time to time by the line manager.

 

The Person:

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

 

Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Must be a member of Information Security Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems/Technology, computer science or related field from a recognized university. Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Certifications in Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems and Control, Certified Information’s Systems Security Professional (CRISC), Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) will be an added advantage.
  • Other IT certifications ICT certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, ITIL, PRINCE2 is a plus.

Area Coordinators based in South Rift will be reporting to you. Developing their people management skills further is key to growing the business.

By working with the Area Coordinators on a daily basis you will be strengthening the capacity of the teams at the branches.

Provide deep and specific support to South Rift Area Coordinators

  • Recruitment of Area Coordinators and their respective teams, in collaboration with the HR team, in the upcoming branches i.e. Kericho, Nyamira, Homa Bay & Migori
