Silensec, a management consulting, technology services and training company specialized in
information security, wants to hire a Senior Penetration Tester reporting to the Chief
Executive Officer/Head of Incident Response.
The Senior Penetration Tester is responsible for execution of a number of different technical consultancies including but not limited to penetration testing, incident response and computer forensics, and implementation of security solutions. The role involves working with security compliance consultants and business consultants to deliver complex projects for a wide range of clients both in Kenya and abroad.
Junior Security Consultant Job Responsibilities
- Deliver vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, including the development of
custom exploits and proof of concepts; - Performing incident response and handling along with, where required, computer
forensics investigation; - Research into technical security areas and contribute to security training course
development, including the development of slides, workshops and virtual environments; - Delivery of security training courses;
- Assisting the business development team in business development activities.
Qualifications for the Junior Security Consultant Job
- Bachelor of Science Degree or a related tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in IT security with emphasis on security
assessment and security incidents investigations. - Added bonus: Any technical security certification.
