The University of Nairobi, through the COEHM and CRISS plus Projects has received funding from the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention to support the implementation of high quality, sustainable and comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment in Nairobi and parts of central Kenya. To meet program goals, the Project seeks to fill the following position;
Qualifications for the Program Officer Job
- The successful candidate will be in possession of a BSN degree or master’s degree in medical sociology/medical anthropology or gender studies from a recognized institution;
- At least 3 years progressive experience in HIV prevention.
Program Officer Job Responsibilities
- The holder of this position will be required to coordinate prevention and gender mainstreaming activities including systematic age and gender analysis, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- They will also promote implementation of targeted actions aimed at achieving gender outcomes.
All the positions are full-time and on a one year contract renewable on satisfactory performance and by mutual consent.
