Our client, a leading company in Kenya providing a wide range of turn-key agricultural projects and solutions for growers, retail chains and investors is seeking to hire an energetic and result oriented Project Executive who has demonstrated the ability to perform well.
The Project Executive will sale and market the agricultural projects to prospective clients and act as a contact person between the company and its existing and potential clients. The Job holder will build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Responsibilities
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients
- Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential clients
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
- Design and implement a strategic business plan to identify, pursue and acquire customer accounts
- To propose the best technical and economic solutions (quality, cost, deadlines) and to negotiate new contracts
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and the different varieties of projects in the market
- Network with individuals and businesses to generate and identify business opportunities
- Coming up with sales presentations and proposals
- Contacting potential customers and establish a relationship in order to obtain an appointment for a site visit.
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels, guarantee the establishment of referrals upon targeted clients.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress of activities
- Following up on identified leads until they are converted into actual sales.
- Analyzing client requirements and advising the product range at their disposal
Requirements
- Bachelor or Diploma in Sales and Marketing
- 5 years experience in selling agricultural projects
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
