Mobile Application Developers

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other equivalent degree.
  • 2+ Years of recent, dedicated and proven mobile development experience.
  • 2+ Years’ experience including but not limited to iOS Native SDK, Android.

Skills & Experience

  • Programming experience in Java, swift, Ionic, React or Kotlin.
  • Knowledge or experience working with code Storyboard, Instruments, IOS Simulator, Cocoa and Android Studio.
  • Understanding of Apple’s and/or Android design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Curiosity and excitement for new technologies.
  • Experience debugging mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with the integration of Restful APIs and other web and data services.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop mobile applications for IOS and Android platforms
  • Collaborate with the technology team in integrating mobile with our back-end services
  • Create and execute QA/Test plans and ensure that our standards for performance, quality, and responsiveness are met.
  • Participate in code reviews, developer meetings, stand-up meetings, and relevant technology business partner meetings.
  • Contribute and collaborate with business and product stakeholders as well as Technical leads.
  • Provide technical assistance to support team in analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting issues.
  • Participate in product design discussions.
  • Participate in research activities up to date with the latest tools (full JD to be issued with contract).

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in back end development
  • Know-how in back end technologies and/or back end frameworks

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in developing Java APIs (preferably Vertex), microservices and support large scale enterprise solutions.
  • DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Skilled in working with Linux.
  • Knowledge in automated unit testing and test – driven development.
  • Understanding in relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with agile approaches.
  • Have strong interpersonal communication skills and be team oriented.
  • Responsible, self-motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced environment.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Engage in a collaborative environment to design, prototype and develop enterprise-class web applications
  • Support software deployment to production.
  • Continuously improve code and application quality
  • Document software manuals and guide and mentor other developers
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned or requested (full JD to be issued with contract).
