Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Grade: KFCB 6

Job Purpose: Assist with technical support in combination of onsite and remote support provision as well as back-end technical support for ICT infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinating the process of configuration of new Information Communication Technology equipment;
2.  Assist in coding, testing and implementing computer programs,
3. Assist in providing user support and documenting problems logs;
4. Assist in implementation and maintenance of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
5. Assist in drawing up hardware specifications and certifying of Information Communication Technology equipment;
6. Assist in verifying validating and configuring of new Information technology equipment;
7. Assist in configuring and maintaining network information and network security systems;
8. Assist in installing and deployment of relevant hardware and software;
9. Assist in training users; and assisting in performing technical, systems and user documentation;
10. Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems

Specifications/Requirements for Appointment;

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Communication Technology, Business Management and Information Technology or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution;
2. A member a relevant professional body
3. Proficiency in Computer applications
