Finance Officer II – Systems at Kwale County Public Service

Kwale County is located in south coast of Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

1. Install and update software and applications to office and field equipment as requested.
2. Assist with departmental IT infrastructure setup and maintenance.
3. Perform data recovery as needed and implement disaster recovery procedures
4. Maintain system friendly physical environment for network hardware
5. Provide first level support for revenue management system and departmental IT infrastructure
6. Work under the supervision and direction of the system administrator to maintain the revenue management system.

Requirements for Appointment:-

1. Diploma in Information Technology or related course.
2. Accounting course preferably CPA I
3. Three (3) years working experience in an IT related environment.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems.
5. Broad knowledge of computer hardware, network operations and maintenance
6. Familiarity with computer systems from end user perspective
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Server architecture
8. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in a related field is an added advantage
