Our client, a well-established Solar Power Provider is looking for an Application Engineer. The successful candidate must have experience working with Microsoft System and proven knowledge of C#, PHP, SQL and database querying skills. He/she must have strong analytical and problem troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities for the Application Engineer Job
- Ensuring applications have an effective up time of 99%
- Manage and meet all customers internal OLAs and External SLAs
- Respond to any CRM related user issues
- Provide technical support working with the Global Service Desk
- Work closely with the first line support to create Root Cause Analysis of resolved problems
- Communicating effectively with staff to determine needs and assist with system requirements
- Resolve application related support issues
Application Engineer Job Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Proven experience running web hosted applications on IIS
- Proven experience working with messaging queue systems
- Proven knowledge of C#,PHP and SQL Server database querying skills
- Must have strong analytical and problem troubleshooting skills
- Must have application programming experience for integrating new application to existing systems
- Experience designing and development of new products necessary to deliver operational capabilities
- Experience in administration and performance tuning of application stacks (JBoss,Rube,Apache Tomcat)
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft certifications and PowerShell scripting will be an added advantage
