As a Back-End Web Developer you will assist in creating and maintain e-commerce applications for our web platform. You should be able to sit on the cutting edge of your field and unafraid to push forward with new techniques and new technology.
You should be stuffed full of ideas, which you’re thrilled to put in practice, to create or optimize for any of our desktop and mobile platforms.
Kindly note: This job needs someone who is a self-learner, capable of teaching yourself new skills and methods using the internet which you then apply to the work assigned to you. You should also be a person who can self-manage themselves and require little or no supervision
We shall only guide you in the right direction. Qualified Candidate will be expected to immediately join a selected team to work on an exciting 1 year web project.
Back-End Web Developer Job Requirements
- Expertise and experience in building Magento e-commerce projects
- Knowledge experience in developing mobile applications
- Strong PHP skills and experience with MVC frameworks
- Experience with different database types, designing schemas and SQL
- Familiar with API’s, web services and different data formats
- Knowledge in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiar with Subversion or Git
- Knowledge with various caching methods
- Testing and debugging of website code on website
- Creative problem solving skills and a thirst for knowledge
- Enjoyment of interesting challenges and problem-solving
- Strong team player
- Good English language skills
