Your responsibilities:
- Assess sites to ensure structural integrity and optimal tilt orientation of potential mounting surfaces.
- Install, Inspect, commission and maintain solar water heating systems and components.
- Review plumbing plans and specifications to determine the layout for SWHs.
- Support service partners in ensuring service delivery and compliance
- Provide technical assistance and product knowledge to distributors and service partners.
- Support marketing and business development activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, cost estimates and other relevant documents for projects.
- Prepare and update procedures, methods and drawings.
- Demonstrate commercial sensitivity with ability to deliver results within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Report customer feedback and other expectations or areas of improvement (process, product, business strategy, etc.)
- Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar thermal systems or components.
- Create plans for solar thermal system development, monitoring, and evaluation of projects.
Main activities:
- Interact Perform scheduled Installations of SWH systems and fixtures directly (Bosch projects) or indirectly (Service providers and distributors).
- Apply all codes of installations, repairs and maintenance
- Check that all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met
- Ensure all installations are properly sized, aligned, properly fastened and supported if needed.
- Ensure all installations meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
