We are a fast growing mid-sized I.T company in Kenya, looking for a young passionate and skilled graphic designer looking for an opportunity to grow and build a thriving digital platform.
The Graphic Designer will be expected to immediately join a selected team to work on an exciting web project. Kindly note: This job needs someone who is a self-learner, capable of teaching yourself new skills and methods using the internet which you then apply to the work assigned to you.
You should also be a person who can self-manage themselves and require little or no supervision. We shall only guide you in the right direction
Qualified Candidate will be expected to immediately join a selected team to work on an exciting 1 year web project.
Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer Job
- Creating/sourcing new graphics(images, banners etc) for our web platform and its channels
- Assist in the creation and deployment of UI/UX designs on our web platform
- Updating/creating corporate marketing materials to meet specific goals (digital).
- Developing a library of branding internal communication templates.
Graphic Designer Job Qualifications
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign in particular)
- Knowledge and experience in UI/UX Design is a big plus
- Must have interest in things related to electronics and fashion products
- Any relevant qualifications in Graphic Design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong ability to build relationships both internally and externally, across all levels
- Articulate and rational when presenting your thoughts and ideas
- Confident and strive for perfection while being open to feedback
- Ability to handle pressure in meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently using professional judgment
- Strong desire to work as a team and work towards the overall goals of the department and organization
- Strong knowledge of color and typography
- Comfortable in a small, intense and high growth environment
- Ability to manage conflicting project demands and thrive in a fast paced role
