Our client is a leading fast-moving consumer goods company based in Nairobi currently looking to hire a Human Resource Manager.
The purpose of the role is to develop, implement, operate and review HR strategy, policies and practices in the company in order to address business challenges with HR Solutions. Ensure continuous attraction, retention, development and performance of sufficient, qualified and motivated personnel, while also controlling personnel costs.
Human Resource Manager Job Responsibilities
- Define an operational HR plan and budget,
- Provide (strategic) HR advice to the company and provide HR analysis to support decision making, in line with rules, policies and procedures
- Organizational and Leadership Development. Initiate and implement organizational, leadership and capability development within the company in conjunction with the Management Team and local stakeholders
- Reward Strategy. Define, implement and execute the reward strategy and take the lead in all drivers of personnel cost management
- Team building and Coaching. Lead team effectiveness within the Management Team and facilitate coaching of individual Leadership team members.
- Safety. Lead the safety agenda within the company and support the GM to manage all stakeholders with respect to safety together with the Management and Leadership Teams.
- Employee Engagement. Works with management to build employee engagement strategy and content
- Execution and development of transactional services and HR processes. Optimal development and execution of all HR processes
