Roles and Responsibilities for the Office Manager Job
- Organizing meetings and managing databases.
- Booking transport and accommodation.
- Organizing company events or conferences.
- Track and trace all the inbound and out bound couriers.
- Greetings visitors on their arrival and directing them to the right department / person
- Handle the support portal for all the group companies and respond to clients complaints in a timely manner.
- Preparing letters, presentations and reports when necessary.
- Supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff.
- Managing office budgets.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients as and when asked to do so.
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems.
- Organizing induction programs for new employees.
- Attending meetings with senior management.
- Keep a track of the support related activities and liaising with the director for any other responsibility.
- Assisting the organization’s HR function by keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews etc.
- Undertake any other task as deemed necessary by the management.
Office Manager Job Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field of study.
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience in logistics will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Should have excellent writing skills
- Strong strategic, analytical and organizational skills
- Strong ability to multi task and manage competing demands.
- Ability self-manage, work on own initiative, meet tight deadlines and balance priorities to achieve results
- Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
