One of our clients in the ICT industry is searching for a highly motivated and self-driven candidate to fill in the following position in their Nairobi Office.
Principal Accountabilities for the Assistant Credit Controller Job
- Sending statements to customers when the debts are past due and doing a close follow-up
- Following up on COD orders to ensure payment is made as promised by client
- Assisting in retrieving customer’s invoices/notes upon request
- Visiting clients to follow-up on long past due debts
- Approving of Order processing form before they are invoiced
- Approving orders after invoicing before delivery
- Assisting in conducting due diligence before approving credit for new clients
- Releasing of aged analysis on weekly basis
- Preparing demand letter for debts that are past 90days due and ensuring they are delivered to respective customer
- Appraising the credit policy document
- Releasing weekly report on status of debts that are over 180days past due
- Conducting debtor’s reconciliation
Credit Controller Job Qualifications
- A minimum of a Degree in Business or other relevant field
- At least CPA PART 1
- At least 3 years experience in related field
