Alternate Doors Job Vacancy : Sales Supervisor

Our Client in the hospitality industry is currently looking to hire a Sales Supervisor.

Function of Work

The Sales Supervisor reports to Sales and Marketing Manager and coordinates all duties sales and any other related duties.

Sales Supervisor Job Responsibilities

  • Managing and generating orders from existing Key Accounts
  • Developing new and un-tapped potential customers.
  • Implementing the sales strategy
  • Managing Inventory levels in different outlets for ensuring order fulfillment at retail end.
  • Ensure timely collections from the market and controlling credit ageing to the minimum level.
  • Manage return of expired items and improving visibility of products on shelves.
  • Responsible for the overall sales strategy of assigned area and routes.
  • Monitor daily activities of sales representatives and follow up on sales progress and accomplishments.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Sales and Marketing Manager for feedback on status of sales.
  • Establish and maintain good contact with all customers and maintain updated Customer details of the assigned area.
  • Travel with the sales team regularly, provide backup to the team whenever necessary. Ensure physical involvement in operation of route.
  • Generate daily and monthly status reports regarding the overall sales achievements and also competitor activities.
  • Coordinate and implement sales targets set by the department head, prepare sales statistics and related forecasts.
  • Ensure proper implementation of sales campaigns / promotional activities.
  • Ensure proper implementation of company policy on sales related matters.
  • Supporting the events team at all events where necessary.

Qualifications for the Sales Supervisor Job

  • A Degree with emphasis on sales or marketing or business.
  • Excellent selling skills, including closing ability, strong negotiation, as well as excellent people skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Minimum of one or two year’s sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel, Outlook is required
  • Ability to work independently is a must
