Responsibilities
- Undertake proper requirements gathering and appropriate research before commencing on projects.
- Regularly meet with clients and colleagues to discuss design projects.
- Advise clients on effective visual communication strategies.
- Determine appropriate size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, font style and size.
- Create powerful images that identify a product or convey a message.
- Present preliminary designs to clients and/or senior colleagues.
- Incorporate recommended changes into the final design.
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
- Publish images and other content on websites, social media pages and other online platforms.
- Coordinate and ensure quality printing of end products where necessary.
- Keep up with latest design and online content trends and apply them to projects.
Requirements
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Customer Focus.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
- Graphic design qualifications.
- At least two years of proven work experience.
- Digital marketing experience and/or qualifications will be an added advantage.
