- Administer the relevant Tax Acts, for assessment, collection and accounting for Revenue.
- Carry out Field Enforcement, Factory Control, Case Management, Reporting and licensing
Responsibilities
- Gathering market Surveillance intelligence and information
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly intelligence related flash reports on all intelligence gathered
- Carrying out covert and over field operations geared towards tax collection
- Enforcing compliance with Tax laws
- Monitoring compliance with import and export regulations
- Sensitize taxpayers;
- Prepare relevant operational reports
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Skills required
- A degree from a recognized University
- Training in Tax laws will be an added advantage
Competencies required
- Must be 35years and below
- Physical fit and energetic
- Good organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to function independently;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Resilient;
- Team player;
- Proficiency in Basic Computer packages.
