REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT -TEACHING POSITIONS

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

Four (4) Positions

Areas of Specialization:

1. Auditing                         One (1) Position                   MSU/ACA/SBE/07/20
2. Finance                         One (1) Position                   MSU/ACA/SBE/08/20
3. Taxation                        One (1) Position                   MSU/ACA/SBE/09/20
4. Accounting                    One (1) Position                   MSU/ACA/SBE/10/20

Requirements:

• An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized University;
• A relevant Master’s degree from a recognized University;
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University;
• A minimum of Twenty Four (24) publication points, at least Sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
• Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).

TERMS OF SERVICE

The terms of service for the advertised positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms except for:

1. Food & Beverage Manager which shall be a three (3) year contract renewable based on performance;
2. Finance Officer, Librarian, Registrar, Academic & Student Affairs and Chief Internal Auditor contracts’ shall be on a five (5) year renewable contract based on performance.
