REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT -TEACHING POSITIONS

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Areas of Specialization:

  1. Strategic Management                   One (1) Position             MSU/ACA/SBE/01/20
  2. Entrepreneurship                           One (1) Position             MSU/ACA/SBE/02/20
  3. Human Resource Management        One (1) Position             MSU/ACA/SBE/03/20

LECTURER, GRADE 12

Requirements:

  • An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized University;
  • A relevant Master’s degree from a recognized University;
  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University;
  • A minimum of Twenty Four (24) publication points, at least Sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
  • Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).

TERMS OF SERVICE

The terms of service for the advertised positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms except for:

  1. Food & Beverage Manager which shall be a three (3) year contract renewable based on performance;
  2. Finance Officer, Librarian, Registrar, Academic & Student Affairs and Chief Internal Auditor contracts’ shall be on a five (5) year renewable contract based on performance.
