Our client in the NGO providing medical services is looking for a qualified, highly dedicated and motivated Quality Champion to join their team.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Sub County Medical Technologist (SCMLT) and oversight of CDC laboratory program CQI Lead, the Q-Champions will assist with the following tasks and activities:
- Training community HIV counseling and testing workers on practical quality assurance procedures;
- Collecting data from the MoH 362 and HIV proficiency testing programs;
- Assisting with entering and analyzing data from the MoH 362 and proficiency testing program;
- Conducting regular site visits and implementing corrective actions
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in laboratory science
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Keen attention to details and wiliness to travel to rural areas for several weeks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB)
Experience
This position is considered to be an entry level at the start of the programme; therefore, no previous work experience is required.
