Responsibilities
- To apply advanced clinical procedures for treating and preventing diseases, injuries, and other physical or mental impairments.
- To carry out clinical and/or surgical procedures, patient care procedures, medical protocols and testing procedures
- Participates in the development of clinical procedures for the department
- Makes clinical decisions regarding work processes based on established guidelines
- Prioritizes and organizes clinical work to meet changing conditions and any other roles and responsibilities assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must have at least diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from KMTC or other recognized training institutions.
- Must have undergone internship program.
- Must be registered by the Clinical Officers’ Council of Kenya.
- Must possess a valid practicing license from Clinical Officers’ Council of Kenya.
- Training in computer application skills will be an added advantage.
- Must meet the requirements of the Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
