Women4Cancer is a national non-profit organization that advocates for a cervical cancer free Kenya. We advocate for an effective cervical cancer response through prevention, early detection and access to treatment. Women4Cancer seeks to recruit a Finance and Administration Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, financial accountability and human resource management requirements of the organization. The incumbent will oversee implementation of programs and projects by Women4Cancer, and serve as the key liaison to the organization and its strategic partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and adherence to terms and conditions of the various agreements with its multiple strategic partners.
- Provide effective support to programs on budget and financial management.
- Create projects reporting systems and maintain up to date financial reconciliation and reports.
- Prepare for audits and follow-up on recommendations.
- Ensure implementation of effective internal controls and maintain integrity of financial records.
- Provide overall administrative oversight and leadership to programs and secretariat.
- Oversee human resource management functions.
- Responsible for fundraising and developing other resources necessary to support Women4Cancer’s mission.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business management with CPA section 5 or equivalent.
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in senior management role.
At least 3 years’ experience providing administrative support to donor funded organizations.
Experience in financially managing complex donor-funded grant programs is an advantage.
Experience with a variety of accounting software.
Proven organizational, leadership skills and resource mobilization capability. Excellent oral and written English.
