As Community Manger, you’ll need to:
- Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, & WhatsApp
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
- Social Media Customer Service
- Attend relevant events and relay the same across Social Networks
- Monitor and evaluate content & social media initiatives from competitor brands
- Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platform
- Assist with content and social media ideation for campaign
- Write sponsored articles to be published on other websites
- Newsletter distribution
- Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms
- Write engaging blog posts and articles and create engaging multimedia content
- Develop and manage online competitions and campaigns that promote the organization and brand
- Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within the company (in-house roles)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication or related field is a plus
- At least two years Proven experience in growing and managing Social Networks. Candidates who have managed a Platform with at least 30,000 followers will have an advantage
- The Community Manager represents the brand and so excellence in every interaction is essential
- Must be an excellent communicator both in written and spoken. Proficient in Swahili & English
- Strong coordination skills and strategic mindset towards social media management
- Express communication, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to solve problems, think logically, and strive for development and continuous learning
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
