We are now looking for a Security Analyst professional for our Managed Security team. This position is responsible for establishing all the network Security reporting towards the customer and is responsible to establish and maintain effective Governance processes in close partnership with the Customer demand organization, local OA(Operational Assurance) and GNOC (Global Network Operations Center) delivery organizations. This position will also be responsible for managed services process delivery rollout and measurement as well as ensuring our managing all our managed services platform delivery tools and connectivity.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Perform Security Incident Management, including but not limited to: supporting SIEM tools, integrating logs into the tool, creating & modifying rules, investigating and resolving alerts, automating tasks;
- Work with the various Technical Authority teams to respond & resolve security incidents effectively and quickly;
- Ensure zero revenue exposure to Ericsson due to lack of Network Security.
- Define and rollout the Managed Services delivery and Network Security related process as well as Teach the local country teams about Network Security and Managed services delivery processes
- Coordinate with GSC-I (Global Service Center) and local teams for Managed services (MSTOP-Managed Services Total Operations Practice and EOE- Ericsson Operations Engine) processes and Network Security related process measurement.
- Drive development of disaster recovery plans and
- Support Information Security audits and Work with the local country teams and GSCs (Global Service Centers) to close the audit findings.
- Coordinate, when necessary, with investigations team and / or external security agencies (including the Customer’s security team) for in-depth investigation;
- Provide Root Cause Analysis for security/ incidents, and outages/ impairments related to security and MSDP (Managed Services Delivery Platform) tools;
- Research new and emerging threats to gain insight into the evolving threat landscape, and share knowledge with the team;
- Drive continuous process improvements by providing inputs on the current delivery and security processes and possible improvement opportunities;
- Perform periodic reporting and when applicable, presenting to management and/or the Customer’s security
Position Qualifications – Core Competences:
- 4 to 7 years’ experience with at least 4 years in IT and 2 years in Security;
- Strong knowledge of information security and ISO 27001 guidelines
- Knowledge of both Linux-based and MS Windows-based system platforms with a strong technical understanding and aptitude for analytical problem-solving;
- Strong understanding of enterprise, network, system and application level security issues;
- Understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, and a strong understanding of TCP/IP networks also with available security control (technical & process control) for respective layers;
- Understanding of the system hardening processes, tools, guidelines and benchmarks;
- The ability to work constructively under pressure;
- Ability to work both in a team as well as individually;
- Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills;
- Customer oriented, Service minded;
- Deliver results and meet customer expectations;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Education: Academic degree (CS /IT )
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, Security+, CCNA Security, and ITIL certifications will be an advantage.
