Overview
SkyTOP Technologies is seeking to recruit Product Development Managers. They will develop products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction as well as developing marketing strategies.
Product Development Manager Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of CAD Technicians.
- Own your team’s technical strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with other engineering and product managers.
- Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and help drive decisions.
- Build collaborative partnerships with software architects, technical leads and key individuals within other functional organizations and product teams.
- Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to make things happen.
- Occasionally roll up your sleeves and create content.
- Keeping the whole infrastructure and product in mind and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Champion and make product extremely easy to use for developers
- Drive a developer experience to functionality, usability, and simplicity
- Work both independently and with a team of peers who subscribe to innovative methodologies.
- Work with Product Design to provide solutions that are innovative and functional meeting market requirements.
- Coordinate with product support, key accounts, and industry leaders to identify market needs and articulate customer feedback to product teams.
Qualifications for the Product Development Manager Jobs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- Have a strong track record of experience working with AutoCAD software
- Personnel management experience, as the work includes managing direct reports
- Excellent presentation skills and ease in speaking in front of large groups
- Technical fluency; Understanding and discussing architectural/design/engineering concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with team members.
- Excellent spoken and communication skills with an ability to state
