The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) was established by an Act of Parliament, Chapter 469 of the laws of Kenya , which became effective on 1st July 1995 . The Authority is charged with the responsibility of collecting revenue on behalf of the Government of Kenya. A Board of Directors, consisting of both public and private sector experts, makes policy decisions to be implemented by KRA Management. The Chairman of the Board is appointed by the President of the Republic of Kenya . The Chief Executive of the Authority is the Commissioner General who is appointed by the Minister for Finance. PURPOSE OF KRA Assessment , Collection, Administration and Enforcement of laws relating to revenue.
Job summary:
This role is responsible for implementation of innovative ideas from staff by development of business cases, conducting pilots and collaborating with key internal stakeholders in the development, implementation and undertaking M&E of innovations
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct pilots and proof of concept projects/initiatives to determine the feasibility of innovative ideas from staff prior to implementation
- Assist in maintaining the implementation plan of innovative ideas from staff in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Conduct engagements with internal stakeholders to review and select high impactful innovative ideas for implementation
- Maintaining database of implemented innovations
- Assist in the implementation of measures that ensure that staff are effectively rewarded in the Authority
- Prepare documentation of the Authority’s Intellectual Property Rights in liaison with key stakeholders
- Following up and undertaking monitoring and evaluation on innovative ideas recommended to user departments for implementation
- Conduct internal awareness and sensitizations aimed at fostering an innovation culture in the Authority

- Academic and Professional qualifications Undergraduate/1st Degree in any field but focus on ICT or business
- Professional Qualifications in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or Balanced Score Card is an added advantage.
