The Parliamentary Service Commission of Kenya is one of the Independent Commissions in Kenya established under Article 127 the Constitution of Kenya to ensure smooth functioning of the Houses of Parliament i.e. Senate of Kenya and National Assembly of Kenya.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing food/ beverages summaries;
- Reporting discrepancies;
- Preparing consumption reports;
- Preparing members statements and dispatching the same; and
- Preparing all payment vouchers.
Requirements for Appointment
For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must;
- Be in possession of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education [KCSE] mean grade C – (minus), or it’s approved equivalent;
- Be in possession of CPA Part I;
- Be in possession of a Front Office Operations Certificate from a recognized institution; and
- Have served for at least two years as a Food and Beverage Controller in a two-star hotel or its equivalent.
