We are currently looking for talented Security Manager with a passion for emerging markets and Africa to join our team and embark on our exciting journey.
What’s this job all about?
Security Operators will be responsible for assisting with protection of employees, company assets, accident prevention, and accident response. S/he will be required to make sure all areas and individuals onsite are safe and secure. In this role you will have the opportunity to assist in creating and fully managing the security of all Jumia facilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting with Employee Safety and Security Responsibilities.
- Assist with Loss Prevention Security Responsibilities
- Assist with Audit and analyses the needs and build strong processes that goes along with group policy and process
- Assist with Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization
- Assit with making sure partners and employees in different departments follow the guidelines.
- Assist with the use systems and help develop road map that can help achieve targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma in (Criminal Justice, Management, Operations, Legal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
• Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
• Diploma or certification in security management services will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 1 years warehouse management security, logistics/supply chain, e-commerce, consulting experience
• Experience in security/loss prevention management
• In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
• Experienced in monitoring and situation evaluation
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and precision.
• Excellent communication and leadership, organizational and time-management skills
• Problem solving skills and analytical skills.
• Know how to manage priorities and work with short terms
• Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
