Our main focus being in agriculture which contributes to 80% of East Africa Community GDP, we are utilising both existing and innovative technologies in sub-sectors like fisheries and aquaculture. We are targeting those in rural areas to help the producers and traders manage the post-harvest losses, improve quality assurance and market access.
Job Details
- Troubleshoot, maintain, service, and repair solar PV refrigeration systems and associated appliances
- Performs other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintenance of Electrical appliances
- Ensures accurate documentation of model and serial numbers
- Maintain a safe clean work environment/Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.
- Ability to determine warranty vs non-warranty repairs
- Performs repairs in accordance with our specs and in a timely efficient manner
- Perform in required training, including TOT- Trainers of Trainers and Users
- Performs other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Possess above-average demonstrable experience in Installing systems, servicing and repairing of refrigeration systems
- Possess demonstrable mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
- Advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, electrical, controls, refrigeration,
- Understanding of general workplace safety and the ability to follow safety standards, as well as help the company improve upon the standards in place.
- Ability to work overtime and non-standard working hours (nights, holidays, weekends), when needed.
- Professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to operate a computer with the technical proficiency of standard business software.
- Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Will drive company vehicle; must have a valid Kenyan driver’s license and good driving record
- Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team.
