You will be joining a growing team in Kenya, working closely with colleagues around the globe. Reporting to the Director of SCNF, you will be the focal point for GAIN’s technical assistance offerings; designing procedures, developing SOPs and overseeing a roster of services providers. Role specifics include;
- Developing documented procedures, monitoring mechanisms and feedback forms for the provision of technical assistance
- Identifying and performing due diligence on a roster of service providers
- Oversee implementation of project plans
- Work with local partners to build capacity
About you
You will have experience related to food supply chains, SME’s, process control and improvements. In particular, you will bring to this role;
- Expertise in business development services to SME’s
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to operate within the public and private sectors to effectively liaise with food enterprises, development agencies and governments at a senior level
- An understanding of both product and commercial decision-making processes
