We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Business Assurance department within the Corporate Security division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Brief Posting Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager-Network Quality Assurance, the individual serves to provide independent assurance to the business on quality and Performance of Fixed Network services (FTTH, FTTB, WIMAX) to ensure superior customer experience
Job Responsibilities
- Daily fixed Network performance monitoring & Reporting.
- Perform Fixed network quality tests, traffic trending and nodes utilizations and relate to customer experience
- Management of Customer Complaints via investigative tests and escalations to the Technical teams for resolution
- Network Traffic statistics Analysis FTTH campaigns to assure service availability, capacity readiness and revenue effect.
- Management of internet links capacity and utilization
- Research, test and document new features as related to Wimax/FTTH/FTTB
- Identify and investigate fixed service quality issues, document and follow up until resolution bottlenecks identified
- Support in change management reviews and approvals for systems in the domain to ensure that changes are implemented as per our CAB guidelines with minimal impact to customers and revenue
- Perform quality tests on all fixed data related products to assure performance, quality and billing.
- Propose solutions to address quality problems where necessary and follow up with relevant departments until resolution.
- Ensuring new technologies integration and products are performing as per perceived plans and analysis on revenue streams.
- Monitor health KPI’s of the network & Services, daily and after work order execution
- Provide assurance on compliance returns to CA on Network Redundancy, Resilience and Diversity (NRRD) framework for fixed services
- Carry out project assurance checks on the fiber roll-out project, these include, but are not limited to:
-Civil works reviews
-Health and safety requirements
-Provisional Acceptance Tests (PATs) results
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom engineering /electrical& electronics engineering/IT or similar discipline from a recognized university
- Have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in an assurance function in the Telecom Industry.
- Working knowledge in GSM/3G/Wimax and the related service each of these technologies offers.
- Ability to analyze significant amounts of data and information and be able to monitor and explain trends and variances
- Capability to draft, summarize and articulate risk in formal management reports
- Have strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills
- High level experience and skills working with multiple diverse stakeholders

- c) Clearance certificate from a reputable Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
