Responsibilities
- Architecting and building features in their entirety Code using Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, BackboneJS
- Developing backend application modules or enhancing existing web components
- Coaching junior developers and performing code reviews
- Technical design of digital assets with special focus on reuse, libraries und scalability
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various components – Quality Assurance with existing testing team
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience developing and debugging rails applications
- 4+ years of experience in JavaScript, CSS and HTML5, HAML, SASS, Coffee, jQuery, BackboneJS
- Experience in agile Teams
- Experience in developing and using APIs (RESTful, JSON)
- Experience with mySQL
- Knowledge of functional programming – Fluent in English
Pluses
- Experience with Paperclip, ImageMagick, Papertrail
- Experience with AngularJS and/or Angular6+
- Experience with GITLab
- Experience with JIRA Projectmanagement
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Continous Integration & Continous Deployment
