Avechi Job Vacancy : Front-End Developer Internships

We are a fast growing mid-sized technology company in Kenya, looking for serious and determined young individuals looking for an opportunity to grow and build a thriving web platform with thousands of users.

Who we are looking for:

  • A self- starter, who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
  • Ideally you will have UI/UX experience and help bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how applications look as well as how they work.
  • You are smart enough to know what you don’t know and learn it on the fly.

Roles for the Junior Front-End UI/UX Magento Developer Internship

  • Develop and assist in setting up UI/UX designs for use on the website
    (This includes setting up of images, banners on website)
  • Manage & Optimize website for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assist in developing and managing Sales/Payment/Shipping integrations on website
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in the daily running of website
  • Identify, report and resolve any bugs on website

Junior Front-End UI/UX Magento Developer Internship Qualifications

We are really not interested in your educational qualifications. We are more interested with your expertise in the skills below:

  • Experience and good knowledge of Magento.
  • Good knowledge of Progressive web apps
  • CSS3
  • HTML 5
  • Jasvascript
  • XML
  • My SQL
  • PHP 5.6.7

Payment:

  • Qualified Candidates will have to undergo a three month internship
  • After which successful candidates will be offered a job position

Duration: Full-Time: 8-5.
(This is not a part time undertaking)
