Job Details

Reporting to the Head of Department- School of Nursing, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of quality instruction for the Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing programme.

The successful candidate will also have responsibility for facilitating clinical teaching during student rotations in the hospitals.

Critical Care Nursing Tutor Job Qualifications

Applicants must be in possession of

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSc.N) with a post graduate Diploma in Critical Care nursing or a Masters degree in Critical Care Nursing
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in Critical care setting, of which 1 year must be in delivering teaching to health care trainees.
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya, with a valid practicing License.
  • In addition, they must be able to commit consistent hours per week to deliver training. Possession of Pedagogy training will be a distinct advantage.

Haltons Pharmacy Job Vacancy : Pharmaceutical Technologist

The Pharmaceutical Technologist major role is to stock and dispense drugs to Haltons Pharmacy clients. He/she is also responsible in providing excellent customer service to the clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmaceutical Technologist Job

  • Helps patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; dispensing medicine.
  • Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs & preparing ageing reports as often as possible.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment by complying with company standard operating procedures & government regulation. He/she cleans the floors and dump dusts the shelves.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Organizes medications for dispensing by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
  • Maintains records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
  • Generates revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges as well as issuing cash sale receipts.
  • Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and other clientele.
  • Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information and sending them on time as required in the standard operating procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Conducting marketing activities together with the branch team and ensuring individual and branch sales targets are met/or exceeded.
  • Take responsibility of his/her shop by ensuring that all operations of the shop are running smoothly and reporting any anomalies and breakages.
  • Adhere to the Dangerous Drug Act regulation
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed to the letter and timely feedback given
  • Any other duty assigned by the Branch manager, Regional Manager or senior management staff.

Deputy Director Revenue Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deputizing the Director of Revenue Services on various roles;
  • Planning, formulating strategies and identifying sources of revenue; Implementing County policies and regulations for revenue;

  • Developing and implementing plans to operationalize County revenue to enhance efficient revenue collection and growth;
  • Designing effective, efficient and secure systems sources /centers, rates and revenues collected;

  • Maintain schedules for revenue source within the county to ensure all new revenue sources are identified and improve revenue collection in the county;
  • Set broad performance targets in revenue collection to ensure the county collects sufficient revenue to meet its budgetary activities;
  • Undertake periodic surveys to determine feasibility in revenue collection from the new revenue sources to develop policies on the revenue collection;
  • Forward the revenue reconciliations to the county Director of revenue and expenditure to ensure all revenue is accounted for as required by the financial policies and regulations;
  • Prepare demand notes and debtors’ lists for recovery and follow up to ensure the county recovers all its debts;
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

  • Be a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics or Business Administration/ Management or Bachelor of Arts from a recognized university;
