Our Client in the real Estate industry is urgently seeking to recruit Security manager to join their dedicated team in Nairobi.
Security Manager Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures.
- Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards.
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
- Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law.
- Supervises and reviews initial incident investigations and promote timely responses for all reported incidents.
- Assists with promotion and implementation of accident and fire prevention procedures.
- Follows up on all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the wellbeing of guests and employees.
- Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiates with others.
- Promotes action plans to monitor and control risk.
- Assists with the claims process and protects company assets by closely monitoring the General Liability and Worker’s Compensation cases.
- Works closely with Meeting Planners to facilitate a successful and safe experience for guests. Assists in conducting hazard and risk assessments at the property to include quarterly OSHA/SAFETY
Qualifications for the Security Manager Job
- Diploma in Criminology.
- Training Certificate in line with career.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience.
- Experience marketing security service and tendering (this is very key)
