Kiambu County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions in the Department of Lands, Housing and Physical Planning.
This is pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and Section 63 of the County Government Act, 2012.
Land Valuation Assistant – JOB GROUP “K” (4 POSTS)
The Officer will be responsible to the Director Valuation and Asset Management for all matters related to valuation and asset management
Land Valuation Assistant Job Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Valuation and Property
- Management, or its equivalent from a University recognized in Kenya
- Computer literate;
- Have met the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and Public Officer Ethics Act 2003.
Duties for the Land Valuation Assistant Job
- Inspection and valuation of properties for preparation of fixed and movable assets register and inventory;
- Assessment of ground rent;
- Assessment of property rent for county owned or leased properties;
- Compulsory acquisition and assist in preparation of valuation rating rolls;
- Any other duties that may be assigned to him by the Director
