A New Start-up company having interests in online business models seeking applications from suitable candidates for the position of Business Development Executive
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Business Management
- Computer Literate and Competence with MS Office Products
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in Business Development
- Experience in a reputable Distribution company and/or online business company is an added advantage
- Experience in brand marketing and positioning
Requirements
- High Levels of Honesty and Integrity
- Entrepreneurial Skills and Business sense
- Demonstrable commercial awareness
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- Negotiating skills and building positive relationships
- Skills in client relationship building and strong inter-personal relationships
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English and Swahili. Other languages are an added advantage
- Creativity and Adaptability to new working conditions, business lines and customer requirements
- Well versed with all areas of Nairobi County
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and new business opportunities
- Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients
- Ensure meeting sales targets or exceed set targets
- Develop market analysis and stay current and responsive to customer needs and preferences, market trends, competition, and growth opportunities
- Take part in planning and execution of sales and marketing initiatives including activations and advertising campaigns
- Prepare weekly performance reports to management
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management
Work Station:
The employee will operate from the company office in Nairobi, but is expected to spend not less than 95% of their work time in the field/market engaging with Clients, Partners and Collaborators
